Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer. This role will be split between software quality assurance and installation and service (ISE). The software role is critical for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and user-friendliness of our medical software applications. The ISE role is geared towards facilitating the survey, installation, and support of the product at the customer site. As an engineer with a frequent presence in a clinical radiation oncology setting, you will be responsible for providing first-class service to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Execute test plans and test cases for our medical imaging software.

·        Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies.

·        Collaborate with developers, engineers, and clinicians to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.

·        Participate in the development of test plans and protocols.

·        Assess the optimal toolset for testing/QA frameworks, and recommend improvements to our QA processes.

·        Work with facilities and radiation oncology personnel to schedule and execute survey and install activities

o   Conducting survey and install activities per standard procedures, and collecting supporting data and measurements to support decisions used for installing clinical equipment 

·        Provide reactive breakdown support (remote and on site)

·        Provide planned maintenance/ upgrade support (remote and on site)

·        Serve as the front line for servicing and troubleshooting customer issues

·        Traveling to different hospitals throughout the USA

 

Qualifications

·        Highly motivated customer focused engineer with excellent customer facing and technical problem-solving skills

·        Comfortable interfacing with clients and other stakeholders at all levels of their organization

·        Results orientated with a “Can Do” attitude and clear enthusiasm for excelling in customer satisfaction

·        Experienced field engineer with electromechanical and IT skills, ideally from medical or IT industry

·        Ability to drill and mount, mechanical bracketry in raised ceilings

·        Ability to read and work with technical drawings and architects’ drawings

·        Good communication and collaboration skills.

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Basic understanding of software QA processes.

·        Located in the Upper Valley, Lebanon NH, or the Boston area.

·        Overnight travel up to 50%.
